Adventures of Tron is a game released for the Atari 2600. It is loosely based on Disney's motion picture, TRON. It was re-released by TeleGames as Adventures On GX-12.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

The game environment consists of 4 floors, each with flying "bits" as well as enemy MCP attackers. The objective of the game is to control TRON (you) in a maze of platforms and elevators while trying to intercept the flying bits (intercepting bits on higher floors are awarded higher points).

Dodge enemy MCP attackers by jumping, using elevators and hitching a ride on the Silver Sailor. Capturing all 7 "bits" will take you to the next level, with added speed and difficulty.

You have a total of 4 lives in play. Make each one count!

Notes[edit | edit source]

This game along with the Atari 2600 version of Tron: Deadly Discs was sold together with a special Atari 2600-compatible joystick with trigger that resembled the one used in the Tron arcade game.

An Intellivision version of this game was in the process of being developed, but it was never released.
