A*M*E*R*I*C*A also known as America: No Peace Beyond the Line in the UK and Germany, is a Wild West-themed real-time strategy. It is set during the era after the American civil war. The player can choose to play Native Americans (Sioux tribe), Mexicans, Outlaws or Settlers. The objective is to settle the western frontier. Each civilization has specific abilities which influence the strategy to be chosen. Multiplayer-gaming (up to 8 players) is supported. As in the similar Age of Empires, workers gather resources to buy military units and new buildings. The game features various scenarios.

Expansions[edit | edit source]

There is only one expansion pack, called A*M*E*R*I*C*A Expansion Pack in the USA and America: Add-on in Europe, and was equally released in 2001. It features two new missions for each of the four factions from the original game, as well as a new unit, and a new building. It has improved graphics and AI and GameSpy online support, and also a level editor.
