Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • New Horizons is the first game in the main series where Mr. Resetti does not scold the player for turning off their system/restarting without saving.
  • During the 2020 presidential election, an island was created by the campaign group for democratic candidate Joe Biden. The island included a fully customized town with a unique layout, customizable banners and placeholders (that were downloadable), as well as a villager that looks similar to Joe Biden and even includes some of his catchphrases.
