The badge can be found in a jail cell in Hooktail's Castle. To enter the jail cell, the player must use Mario's "Paper Mode" ability.
The sound effect of Attack FX R resembles that of a cricket. Ms. Mowz divulges to the player that Hooktail does not like the sound of them, as he once ate a bad cricket. Whenever he hears the sound, he comes sick and disoriented, which can be used to the player's advantage in the boss fight.
