Back Alley Brawler is one of the signature heroes of the City of Heroes universe, and remains around to train new heroes.

History[edit | edit source]

Michael White was born as the son of a gang enforcer, which led to him joining the PPD to try and clean up the city he had known. When he decided being a cop wasn't getting the job done, he became a hero. During the 70's and 80's he did a lot of work cleaning up the drug trade with, among others, fellow Regulator Blue Steel and the current Manticore's father.

After the Rikti War, Michael came out of retirement to help train new heroes.

In-Game[edit | edit source]

Back Alley Brawler is the only member of the 'Surviving Eight' other than Statesman himself to not offer a task force. Instead, he trains new heroes in Galaxy City, a counterpart to Ms. Liberty in Atlas Park.

Originally, in the beta period, he was the trainer for Kings Row, but after it was decided a second newbie zone was needed he was moved, and Blue Steel was created to take his place.
