Blizzard Console is a developer division of Blizzard that is intended to focus on developing games for home consoles, while Blizzard continues pumping out titles for the PC. The developer was once known as Swingin' Ape Studios, and developed Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.
They were given the task by Blizzard to develop the multiplatform action game, StarCraft: Ghost, for all 3 consoles. Eventually, Blizzard decided to just buy them out on May 16, 2005, and renamed them Blizzard Console. In March of 2006, Blizzard Console "disappeared" when development on Starcraft: Ghost was suspended.
