Bomberman Hero has allegedly no connection with the other Bomberman N64 exclusive, Bomberman 64. Here, the gameplay is given a drastic overhaul, making it more of a standard platforming/action game by getting rid of arguably archaic game mechanics (One hit deaths, lack of jumping, etc.) As Bomberman, you'll work to save Bomberworld and Princess Millian, all the while wrestling with dangerous enemies and a nearly static camera position.
Unlike most other games in the Bomberman series, Hero omits multiplayer mode and focuses only on the single player storyline.
