Chopper Command is a game released for the Atari 2600.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Gameplay is similar to that of Defender. You control a chopper who must defend the caravans of trucks from the enemy's bomber jets and helicopters. The caravans come in groups of three trucks, with three enemies patrolling the skies over each caravan. The enemy aircraft drop bombs that split in two, so watch out for them! Once you shoot down a patrol, you will earn a bonus for every surviving jeep, and the caravan is safe...until the next level, when the enemy patrols come after your caravans again, this time faster and with more accuracy.
