Cluedo or Clue is a mystery game in which players must attempt to be the first to deduce where, with what and by who Dr Black or Mr Boddy was murdered. The game was originally British and was created by Waddingtons under the name Cluedo. The name was a play on the British board game Ludo. When the game first appeared in America, Ludo was unknown, and so the name of the game was changed to Clue.
