- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve as an administrator. Please answer the following four questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I wish to continue my work in bringing all wiki articles into an up-to-date format, and use my administrative privileges to more thoroughly do so. In the future, I hope to aid in automating the process and reaching out to other, more specialized Gamepedia wikis to help increase site traffic.
- 2. What do you consider to be your best contributions, and why?
- A: I believe that my best work is a sum of all its parts. By that, I mean that I have worked extensively for almost two years to update many of the outdated articles, getting the number down from roughly 1000 to 4000. I have done more thorough work on articles (such as the God of War (2018) article, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Uncharted 4), although they are not as finished as I would like.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Not on this wiki, but I have had to deal with differences in opinion over articles. While it is frustrating, I have put in my best effort to deal with it maturely and come to an understanding with the other user so that progress can be made, and I believe that attitude will carry me forward.
- 4. Do you regularly contribute to any other wikis? Are you an administrator or bureaucrat on any of them, or do you have accounts with similar roles on forums, blogs, etc.? Could you provide links, if so?
- A: I am a regular contributor and bureaucrat on Alien Biospheres - Biblaridion Wiki (my fandom username is GuillermoIE), and have contributed a great deal to the Horizon Wiki, where I am ranked #10 among editors.
