Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by CD Projekt, releasing for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on November 19, 2020; a future PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S release date is planned but has yet to be formally confirmed. It is based on the tabletop Cyberpunk 2020 board game, and is set fifty-seven years later in dystopian Night City, an open world with six distinct regions. Players will assume the role of V, a customizable mercenary, in a first-person perspective, with skills in hacking and machinery, as well as an arsenal of ranged and melee weapons.

On January 16, 2020, CD Projekt Red announced that the game was being pushed back from its original release on April 16, 2020 to September 17, 2020 for additional playtesting, polishing and bugfixing.[1] On June 18, 2020, the release date was pushed back from September 17 to November 19, 2020.[2]
