==Release== Prior to the release of Cyberpunk 2077, several gaming jourmalism websites put out reviews stating that they had only been allowed to review the PC version of the game, with no codes being supplied for console versions. Additionally, it was also claimed that CD Projekt had not sanctioned the usage of gameplay footage from the review copy in reviews, with only previously-available or CD Projekt-made "B-roll" footage being deemed acceptable. On December 10, 2020, the game was immediately supplemented with a version 1.02 day one patch, with a further 1.04 patch following on December 12 for PlayStation 4 and PC users; CD Projekt commented that the patch would be available for Xbox One users at a later date. Gamers on the 4 and Xbox One have reported poor performance, while those on PC, 4 Pro and Xbox One X have generally had smoother gameplay experiences. Nevertheless, crashes have been widely reported with all platforms. On December 14, 2020, CD Projekt via the Cyberpunk 2077 official Twitter account acknowledged that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game were suffering from poor performance on their base console versions, and confirmed that a patch to alleviate some of the problems would be coming in the next seven days, with further patches forthcoming "whenever new improvements are ready". Two additional regular patches were also announced; Patch #1 would land in January 2021, while Patch #2 would land in February 2021. Additionally, it was confirmed that both PC and console gamers would be receiving improvement patches. On December 18, 2020, Sony issued a statement saying that they were de-listing Cyberpunk 2077 from the Store until further notice, additionally stating that it would grant a refund to anyone requesting it who had digitally purchased the game. Later that day, Microsoft stated that, also until further notice, they would be expanding their existing refund policy to cover anyone who had digitally purchased the game from the Xbox Games Store, although they did not delist the game from the store like Sony did. CD Projekt later that day officially clarified that the decision to suspend the game from the PlayStation Store was a temporary one following discussions with Sony International Entertainment, and confirmed that both physical and digital versions would continue to receive support and updates. On December 19, 2020, CD Projekt released Patch 1.05 to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers. This patch primarily focused on bugfixes related to quests, visual and UI fixes, stability improvements and crash fixes, as well as fixes for other small issues. CD Projekt mentioned the patch would be coming to PC shortly, where an additional number of improvements have been made relating to multi-core processor configurations, as well as other smaller fixes. The patch became available to PC gamers later on that day, and to Stadia players on December 21. Patch 1.06 was released on December 23, and fixed a widely-reported bug on PC where the save file was limited to 8 MB in size; players that exceeded the save file size experienced save file corruption with the game unable to recover the save file. The patch did not fix save files already corrupted, but would prevent players from encountering it in future. On January 22, 2021, CD Projekt released Patch 1.1 to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC gamers. This patch focused on stability improvements, as well as optimizations related to the game running on the PlayStation 4 Pro and the PlayStation 5, and improvements to memory management on the Xbox consoles. This patch also, however, introduced a game-breaking bug relating to one of the missions, "Down on the Street". CD Projekt released a hotfix, Patch 1.11, on January 28, 2021, to address this and fix some item randomization issues. Patch 1.2 is expected to drop in February, and will build upon the work of Patch 1.1.
