Deer Avenger is a 1998 hunting video game developed by Simon & Schuster Interactive, for the PC. The game is a parody of the popular hunting game Deer Hunter, as well as hunting games in general. The game follows Bambo(a parody of Bambi and Rambo), a vigilante deer who strikes back and makes the hunters the hunted.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

The player selects a hunting area and weapon. Once on the map, the player tries to find recent hunter activity (beer cans, nudie mags, yellow snow, etc.) Once these markings are found the goal is to lure a hunter by calling them and then try to shoot and kill them.
