Diddy Kong Racing DS is a video game released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS that is the sequel to the Nintendo 64 classic, Diddy Kong Racing. This game does not have Banjo and Conker, due to Rare, who owns them, being brought out by Microsoft. However, Tiptup is still in the game, despite being one of Rare's characters and on the Banjo-Kazooie series. Banjo and Conker, however, were replaced with Dixie Kong and Tiny Kong. This game takes place in Timber's Island.

Taj and Wizpig also appear as playable characters in this game. However, Taj is also an ally who resides in Timber's Island while Wizpig is actually the final boss of the game who has done many mischievous stuff such as turning Drumstick into a frog, brainwashing Tricky, Bluey, Bubbler, Smokey.
