One of the Three Golden Goddesses who created the world, Din shaped the earth. Din is symbolic of the sun, fire and power. Din's Fire, a magic item Link can acquire in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, engulfs nearby enemies in flame. She is the sister of Nayru and Farore.

The Goddesses were first introduced in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, however, Din was not named until The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
