Always together, forever apart

Entwined is a music rhythm game developed by Pixelopus and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in 2014.

Plot[edit | edit source]

The story is that two animals: a bird and a fish, are in love with each other, however, they can't be together. Once they are together they turn into a dragon.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Entwined is not supposed to be about gameplay the emotional aspect of the game, two lovers who can never be together, and will do anything to try and change that. Players guide the animals using the analog sticks through glowing "panels" and earn combos.

Development[edit | edit source]

Reception[edit | edit source]

Game Informer rated Entwined a 5.5 with Joe Juba stating, Entwined's experimental nature reminds me of similar games that I've enjoyed, but there's always a "minus" in the comparison; it's like Journey minus the community, like Flower minus the message, like Rez minus the action. [1]
