Eternum Online

Eternum Online (commonly referred to as EO) is a free web based MMORPG. Unlike other contemporary browser based games, Eternum displays the playing-world in a real-time graphical format rather than a text based format. This makes the game more comparable to standalone titles such as World of Warcraft, Runescape and Everquest than Lands of Hope or Planetarion.

Eternum offers players many of the functions considered standard in the MMORPG genre such as the ability to fight monsters, quest, trade and craft items. [1] It also offers the controversial concept of 'open PVP' combat; allowing players to attack each other at will outside of towns and cities. The issue of players griefing others by abusing this system is controlled by a player reputation system and harsh penalties for PKing.
