The European Union is a geopolitical union and partial monetary union on Earth, created to foster peaceful relations and trading between its members, and contains nations like France, Germany, Spain, Poland and the United Kingdom. All video games released here use the PAL format.
All of the countries in the European Union, excluding Germany, use the PEGI (or Pan European Game Information) content rating system for their video games. In the United Kingdom, PEGI is used, while the BBFC previously rated video games, while in Germany, they use the USK. Spain also uses the AEdV rating system.
