Fallout Extreme was a canceled squad based shooter similar to Brute Force set in the Fallout universe. The title was in development for several months within Interplay for Microsoft's Xbox console using the Unreal Engine. The title was canceled due to a lack of a proper concept that could have been explored further.[1]

Despite the cancellation, concept art including a logo was eventually found.[2] Interplay's next attempt at bringing the Fallout series to consoles would be with Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel
