The Quest For The Rings is a game released for the Odyssey 2. It is loosely based on the popular Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game, and is one of the few games released for the system that is marketed as a combined video game and board game.
Gameplay[ | ]
The players control four different types of heroes: the Warrior, who is armed with a sword; the Wizard, who can stun foes with his magic spells; the Phantom, who can walk through walls; and Changeling, who can turn invisible. They both embark on a quest against the nefarious minions of the Ringmaster, fighting against orcs, dragons, tarantulas, and vampiric pterodactyls in search for ten rings.
