A direct sequel to Square Enix's RPG Final Fantasy X, the first time a Final Fantasy game has been a direct sequel to an existing game. The "X" in the name is the Roman numeral for 10, and is pronounced as either "Final Fantasy Ten Two" or Final Fantasy Ex Two".

It stars Yuna, Rikku and Paine, collectively part of a sphere-hunter group known as the Gullwings.
