Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon (FHSW) is a Japanese mod for Forgotten Hope (FH) which itself is a mod for Battlefield 1942. The mod was founded in 2007 with the intention to add prototypes or paper projects of World War II to Forgotten Hope like the Landkreuzer P.1000 Ratte.

In the past 5 years of development, Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon became the biggest mod for Battlefield 1942 with close to 700 different vehicles and dozens of gameplay and graphic improvements.

Main Features

Maps

The main theme of the mod is World War II. Although the Second World War ended in 1945 with the Japanese surrender, FHSW also offers some fictional battles like the invasion of the Japanese mainland (Operation Downfall). Another map features a Soviet landing operation in Alaska in an attempt to attack the USA.

The historical maps feature almost all major fronts: the Pacific Campaign, Western Front, Eastern Front, North Africa Campaign, Invasion of Germany, Burma Campaign, Italian front, Finnish Winter War, Sea war in the Atlantic, the Singapore Campaign.
