Frozen North Productions is an independent third-party video game developer founded in 2006.[1] The studio is based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, though it began in Waterloo, Ontario, and several team members are graduates of the University of Waterloo. The company began full-time production with support from Infusion Angels[2] and enjoys a continued partnership with Infusion Development.
The studio features development of both original and licensed properties, and also offers outsourcing of visual art and technical resources. The team is licensed to develop for all the major gaming consoles, as well as touch devices such as Microsoft Surface, TouchPCs, and the Apple hardware line; Frozen North has developed projects for systems including the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, iPhone and Xbox 360.
Frozen North is currently launching their first original IP retail title, Flip's Twisted World, in partnership with Majesco Entertainment, which is set to release in September 2010.
