Game Boy Wars is a video game for the Game Boy that was released in 1991 in Japan. It is the sequel to the hit Family Computer video game Famicom Wars. Like its predecessor, Game Boy Wars is a strategy tactical video game where you move your units across a grid map and battle your opponents, take over their buildings, etc.

Gameplay[ | ]

You play as Red Star and Blue Moon. There are 36 maps different maps you can choose in the game. The objective in this game is to take the cities and factories. There can be up to fifty units on a map at a time. There are twenty-four different kinds of units in this game.

Legacy[ | ]

The games were followed by a remake, Game Boy Wars Turbo and 2 sequels, Game Boy Wars 2 and Game Boy Wars 3. These were all developed by Hudson Soft instead though.
