Grand Fantasia (aka Dreamy Journey Online) is a client-based mmorpg game created by Easyfun Entertainment and hosted by Aeria Games in North America and Japan.

There are many things to do in this fighting-based game. When you first begin the game, you make your character with a small preset of faces, eyes, hair, and eye and hair colors. Once you are done, you begin your adventure on a the newbie island called "Siwa island." On the island you learn the basics as well choose your first class from four different class branches when you reach level 5. At level 15 you change class again, though this is more change is more cosmetic since the class name is about the only change. Once you reach level 30, however, you can choose between two specialized classes of your chosen class branch.

Your campanion, a "sprite" is not there just for decoration, but to work for you. You get one main sprite which you do customize and pick its profession. The sprites you can pick as your main sprite will have a couple collection abilities and Most sprites you can pick have a craft ability that will help you in your later classes, like sword crafting, staff crafting, warrior apparel, etc. As you collect, craft and train your sprite it will level the profession and collect and craft better items. Your sprite though has a mood, which means you have to take care of it in its "sprite cottage". If its to tired or upset it may not work or train for you. By chatting to it, its mood may increase. The sprite can also have events when returning from work, which can boost its mood and relationship (or reduce them) or can bring back valuable items.
