A Human Ranch is a place from the world of Tales of Symphonia for the Nintendo GameCube. Human Ranches serve both as the local headquarters of the evil Desians and as mysterious slave camps. Prisoners go in, and never come out. They are seen through the gates pushing generic crates into generic doors while being whipped. All prisoners in Human Ranches are forced to wear an Exsphere without a KeyCrest, making it dangerous to their health.
Genis has a friend that is a prisoner in the Human Ranch near the town of Iselia. Lloyd's Mother died escaping a Human Ranch near the town of Asgard.
It is later revealed that Human Ranches serve as Exsphere factories. The prisoners that wear the exspheres eventually die and become part of the exsphere, giving it extraordinary power.
