Incremental video games are a recent genre of video games. They are typified by the ability of the game to play itself after the player completes a brief series of actions, and involve increasing a number, usually assigned to a resource. Some examples of incremental video games include AdVenture Capitalist, Clicker Heroes, Cookie Clicker and Time Clickers.
