Intellivision Lives! is a compilation of various games from the Intellivision and released for the Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. In addition, there are three exclusive games that were never released for the original console. A Nintendo DS version was released on September 14, 2010.
It was originally released in 1999 for PCs. A bug fix was released in 2001, and a sequel named Intellivision Rocks was released in 2002; Intellivision Rocks included more Mattel-published Intellivision games in addition to third-party games originally published by Activision and Imagic.
The games are accessed from a 3D "overworld" set in a circa 1980s pizza parlor, although this is an inaccurate representation of the games in question which are designed for a home console. On some platforms, some games require two controllers, even to play single player. In addition to the games there are several unlockables such as the classic Intellivision commercials.

IGN said that Intellivision Lives! is "still blocky after all these years, sure...but these games really need the controller."[3]
Nintendo DS version[ | ]
A version of Intellivision Lives! was released on September 14, 2010 for the Nintendo DS. Intellivision Lives! includes over 60 different games including, Astrosmash, B-17 Bomber, Shark! Shark!, Motocross, Space Cadet and Thin Ice. The game will also feature games not released at the time of its original launch as well as Head-to-Head local wireless game play. It basically emulates the Intellivision's 12-button keypad: each game features a custom touch-screen layout mimicking that of the button overlay supplied with the original Intellivision cartridge. The DS version of Intellivision Lives! will be published by Virtual Play Games.[4]
Xbox Originals[ | ]
The Xbox version of Intellivision Lives! is fully forward compatible with the Xbox 360 console and it can be downloaded for 1200 MS points.[5]
Xbox Live and Games for Windows[ | ]
Microsoft has announced that Game Room for Xbox Live, a virtual online arcade was launched on March 24, 2010. It features Intellivision games also.[6]
