The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) is a non-profit professional society that is committed to advancing the careers and enhancing the lives of game developers by connecting members with their peers, promoting professional development, and advocating on issues that affect the developer community. As part of promoting the industry, the IGDA presents the Game Developers Choice Awards annually at the Game Developers Conference.

The organization was formed as the Computer Game Developers Association in the summer of 1994 by Ernest W. Adams and used the CGDA name until June 26, 2006.
