A keypad is a form of controller that usually has 12 buttons arranged in a grid like that of a touch-tone telephone to control game input. It was used in game systems of the early 1980s such as the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, ColecoVision, and Intellivision. It was also later used for the Atari Jaguar Controller.
