Terminology |
Loot is a term used in many video games. It refers to the act of scavenging (also known as looting) a corpse in order to obtain what they had on their person (such as money, food, or valuables). Looting is a major part of role-playing games and looter shooters, and is often an important part of progression; certain items may only drop from specific enemies, such as bosses encountered as part of the storyline.
