Magic Knight Rayearth (魔法騎士レイアース?) is a Role-playing game released by Tomy; released in 1995 in Japan for the Super Famicom (SNES), based on the 1994 anime by Clamp of the same name, Magic Knight Rayearth

Plot[edit | edit source]

The story begins when Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, Fuu Hououji was summoned by Princess Emeraude to save an alternate world called Cephiro. They met Guru Clef and asked them to become the Magic Knights to save Princess Emeraude from the High Priest of Cephiro, Zagato. But, before they become Magic Knights, they must first acquire weapons from the Master Smith Presea and acquire the three Mashins. For them to accomplish those task, they are given a bizarre creature named Mokona to guide them on their journey. Before they could reach Zagato and Emeraude, they first have to fight the minions of Zagato. When the girls finally reach Emeraude, they learn that she had fallen in love with Zagato, hindering her ability to pray solely for Cephiro's well-being, and had summoned the Magic Knights to kill her since no one on Cephiro could harm the Pillar.
