Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition was the Xbox 360 port of Minecraft developed by 4J Studios, Mojang AB, and Microsoft Studios.[1] It was digitally released on the Xbox Live Arcade May 9, 2012 alongside a demo version, and received a retail disc release on June 4, 2013.
Although the Xbox 360 platform has been discontinued, the Xbox 360 Edition continued to get feature updates until its last update, Update Aquatic, on September 11, 2018.[2]
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Like the original computer version, players are on a pixelated world where they build and do whatever desired. It has two modes of gameplay: survival and creative mode. Survival mode is where the player gathers materials for whatever they desire, either to build or manage their hunger in addition to dealing with hostile creatures, while in creative mode, players have the freedom to build whatever they desire, without interference from hostile creatures.
