The Neptune is a cancelled 32-bit two-in-one console that SEGA planned to release in fall 1995, with the retail price to be less than US$200. It would have been able to play 32-bit 32X and 16-bit Genesis/Mega Drive video games. SEGA cancelled the project in October 1995 due to fears it would dilute their marketing for the Saturn while being priced too close to it to be a viable competitor.
