Nier: Automata (stylized as NieR: Automata) is an action RPG hack and slash video game, developed by Platinum Games and published by Square Enix. The game takes place in the distant future, and follows a group of combat androids as they fight against alien machines.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Nier: Automata features 26 possible endings (labeled from A to Z). Endings F through Z are various game overs given at varying points throughout the story, while A through E are obtained by reaching the story's end.
Plot[edit | edit source]
The game is set in the year 11945. Since the 53rd century, Earth has been invaded by robots of extra-terrestrial origin, forcing mankind to evacuate to the Moon.
