Omega Boost is a fantasy three-dimensional shooter developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation. The game is considered an "underated gem".

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

In the game the players take control of the Omega Boost, a giant tech robot. The player is charged with travelling back in time to stop another gigantic robot named Alpha Core from adjusting ENIAC, the first computer, and thus making itself more powerful in the future. The gameplay orders in rounds, meaning the enemies in the same groups and formation as last time. The player has to engage and fight in each round and eliminate the enemy.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • A series of action figures were released by Blue Box Toys, featuring Mecha from the game.
  • This is the only game in the shooter genre that Polyphony has produced.
