Prawn is a mini-boss fought in SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. He is fought in the Villain Containment System at the Mermalair. He is voiced by the voice actor of Plankton, Doug Lawrence.
History
Prawn, at some point in time before the events of Battle for Bikini Bottom, put some white clothes of Mermaid Man in a washer with a red sock. This caused Mermaid Man's white clothes to become pink, earning Prawn's title of Mermaid Man's arch-enemy. Prawn was frozen in Villain Containment System (VCS) because of this.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom
When SpongeBob pressed the Security Shutdown Button by the Mermalair Computer in the main room of the Mermalair, it caused the VCS to shut down and release Prawn in the process.
After his defeat at the hands of SpongeBob, Prawn freezes back up in the VcS. Mermaid Man then awards SpongeBob with a Golden Spatulas that he found in his sock drawer filled with pink socks.
Strategy
Prawn stands in the middle of the Villain Containment System, shooting sound waves for his tuba-like device on his back. He also spawns various Ham-mers to assist him in battle.
The middle of the VCS is surrounded by various light up tiles that prevent SpongeBob from getting near or attacking Prawn while he attacks. Once Prawn is done shooting out sound waves, the tiles leave a narrow path open for an attack on Prawn. SpongeBob must use the Bubble Bowl to attack Prawn. This must be done three times before Prawn is defeated.
Trivia
- Prawn makes a cameo in the Mermalair in SpongeBob's Truth or Square video game. He is frozen in TarTar sauce like ManRay was from the TV show. If you walk up to him, SpongeBob will say "Ahhh! ManRay!".
