Puyo Puyo (ぷよぷよ, Puyo Puyo?) is an arcade game released in 1991. It was ported to various gaming systems, with the Super Nintendo version renamed Kirby's Avalanche and the Genesis/Mega Drive version renamed Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine for the American and European releases, each featuring characters from their respective gaming franchises.
