RPG Tsukūru: Super Dante (RPGツクール SUPER DANTE?, "RPG Maker: Super Dante")[5] is a Japan-exclusive Super Nintendo Entertainment System game that allows players to design their own traditional role-playing game. Literacy in Japanese is required to fully understand the creation process. Role-playing games that were made using this program are usually relatively simple because of the cartridge´s memory restrictions.

Players must design their characters and a map of the game's overworld by placing land masses in a world completely filled with water (so that villages and dungeons can be properly placed). Any useful items, monsters, and the limitations of the monsters' domain must also be created by the player. The images of monsters used in any customized role-playing game range from insects to skeletons and even dragons among the 100 different images available in the game.

While most of the monsters are palette swaps of each other (to preserve memory on the ROM cartridge for the player's customized games), there is enough variation to supply monsters appropriate for most most climate zones (including deserts and forests to underground dungeons and grasslands). These monsters are assigned hit points, attack strength, defensive strength, their agility rating, and the amount of gold pieces that they carry by the player/designer(s). Even a title screen has to be designed using both graphics and alphanumeric text. This screen has the name of the created role-playing game along with the names of the designer(s).
