Rampage 2: Universal Tour is an action game developed by Avalanche and published by Midway for the Nintendo 64, PlayStation, and Game Boy Color. It is the third game in the Rampage series, and the direct sequel to Rampage World Tour.
Plot[edit | edit source]
George, Lizzie, and Ralph from the previous Rampage have been locked up in separate facilities around the world, and it's up to three new monsters: Boris the Rhino, Ruby the Lobster, and Curtis the Mouse to find and rescue them. After they rescue their friends, Area 51 becomes available and the monster, Myukus, becomes unlocked. Soon afterwards, the planet is attacked by aliens, and they must repel the alien forces back by travelling through the Solar System.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Much like it's predecessors, Rampage 2: Universal Tour focuses on the destruction caused by various monsters with unique abilities. Around the world, other monsters remain locked up and must be rescued. Buildings can contain all sorts of items, from electrical outlets, to pieces of pizza, to humans themselves. After destroying a couple cities, the player has a chance to earn bonuses from a bonus round (such as full health or more lives).
