The sequel to Ratchet & Clank from the makers of the Spyro series, Insomniac Games, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando centers around the adventures of Ratchet, an orange fuzzy thing, and Clank, Ratchet's robot buddy, as they set out on orders from Abercrombie Fizzwidget, CEO of Megacorp, to rescue an experiment that's been kidnapped by a nefarious, black-clad thief. Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando has even larger worlds than its predecessor, even more weapons with four upgrades per weapon, and an experience-based weapon upgrade system that upgrades a weapon after it's been used often enough. In the game's own words, corrected to eliminate intentional typographical errors:

Ratchet, after continual calculations, Megacorp has selected you to become one of our most glorified Commandos! After how you amazingly took down the Blarg and Chairman Drek, it was a unanimous vote. By now, you know the Bogon galaxy is in dire need of your help in getting back our highly classified, top-secret experiment from that nefarious thief. There's no time to waste! This matter is of unequalled importance!
