Scorched Earth is a game designed for the PC. It bears a striking resemblance to Howitzer in gameplay and graphics, however the two are not one in the same.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Scorched Earth allows up to ten players to compete to destroy each other in tanks scattered around a 2D playing field. These can be either human or computer controlled. Between rounds, each player can purchase weapons and other items to help them in the next round. As the game progresses more money will be awarded so that more and more items can be purchased.
