A Smart TV is a television that incorporates the ability to use Apps and other services, using Wi-Fi or Ethernet access. Many Smart TVs contain advertisements, often only showing many months after purchase and after network connectivity has been established. Smart TVs have become highly popular due to the integration of Apps for streaming providers such as Netflix, Amazon Video and Hulu.

Some Smart TVs can also play video games, PlayStation Now being one such service.
