Starships Unlimited is an unique 4X where the focus is on starships and freighters, rather than colonies. While colonies can be made, they're very expensive endeavors, but aren't needed to claim a system. Each ship has its own configuration and in a way is a valuable resource all its own, so they must be fiercely protected.
