Plug and play
(Redirected from TV game)
A plug-and-play videogame (also referred to as a TV game) is a standalone videogame system that is contained within a handheld controller unit with a few games hard-wired into the unit. It simply plugs into the TV set through composite audio/video jacks and runs solely on batteries or a power adaptor, which gives it the name "plug and play".
Most companies make these plug-and-plays, such as Jakks Pacific, Radica, and Techno Source.
