Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time is a Super Nintendo game that was originally released in the arcades as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. It is based on the popular comic book heroes of the same name. In Europe, they are referred to as the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Shredder has kidnapped the Statue of Liberty from Ellis Island, and the Turtles must defeat Shredder and bring the statue back to its rightful place. However, Shredder has a surprise waiting for the Turtles: he's going to send them back through time where his Foot Clan minions await them.
Gameplay is identical to the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game. You control any of the four turtle warriors as they battle their way through endless Foot Clan soldiers, robots, and mutants as they reach toward their goal of fighting the boss at the end of the level. Some additional levels have been included in the Super Nintendo release of this game. Energy is restored by running on top of any pizza boxes the turtles come across.
