The Game Awards 2018 were held in Los Angeles, California, to honor the best video game titles of 2018, on December 6, 2018. God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 were tied for the most nominations at eight each. Red Dead Redemption 2 won the most awards at four, while the title of "Game of the Year"' was given to God of War.
