Biography[edit | edit source]

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Fox was born October 11, 1991 and studied environmental science at Northeastern University.[1]

Career[edit | edit source]

Fox began his composing career in 2009 when made some music tracks for the webcomic Homestuck, the most notable of which being MeGaLoVania, one of the earlier versions of Megalovania.

In 2015, Fox created the critically-acclaimed Undertale, along with artist Temmie Chang. Fox was the developer, programmer, composer, and primary sprite artist for the game. Fox chose to work on the game independently in order to avoid relying on others.[2] Undertale became a massive success shortly after launch, with 500,000 copies sold on Steam just three months after release.[3] In February of 2016, the game surpassed 1 million copies sold.[4]

On October 31, 2018, Fox tweeted out a link to the download page for the first chapter of his new game Deltarune, under the guise of a survey.[5] Fox was included in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list for his work on Undertale.[6]

Undertale's popularity lead to the supporting character Sans being added as a DLC mii fighter costume in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.[7]
