Twisted Metal 2: World Tour, known as Twisted Metal EX in Japan, is a 1996 Vehicular combat video game by SingleTrac, for the PlayStation and PC. It is the sequel to the 1995 game Twisted Metal, and the second game in the Twisted Metal series.

Plot[edit | edit source]


It's Christmas Eve, 2006, and the 11th annual Twisted Metal Competition is about to begin. Calypso, the mysterious founder and host of the competition has agreed to grant the victor any prize they desire, regardless of price, size, or even reality. However Los Angeles, the battleground for all ten previous Twisted Metals, was destroyed by last year's competition. Calypso decides that with Los Angeles in ruins, that the whole world should be this year's arena. This year's twelve contestants will compete against each other on all corners of the globe, with only one left standing in the end to claim their prize.
