Thank You[]

Thank you so much, guess you don't need to read the comment I left on the Community Wiki xD Zmario 20:54, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

I want to help mass import things threatened on the Wikipedia that are game related[]

I noticed you recently granted administration rights to two people. Can you do the same for me please?

Certain deletionists are making their rounds, eliminating list articles related to game articles. List of characters in a game, list of alien races in a game, individual character articles for game characters, etc. There are now 8,580 articles on manga.gamepedia.com, there less than a few dozen before I adopting it. I have created and maintained numerous wikis. Can you grant me administrative rights so I can import over things from the wikipedia? Dream Focus 22:19, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

The News Blog[]

Hi, I saw your post on Adans page and followed your discussion a bit to see what it was about. Anyway my point in this is to say that I am interested in doing some news posting if it means bringing more people around. Even if I enjoy some editing to an extent I have to admit that this wiki isn't getting any large number of different editors. I am planning to cover most of the E3 press conferences next week . Watching live on the net and writing down a few lines for each thing, look at E3 2010, yeah I never completed that one but this year I'm planning to! So to bring this discussion further I'm interested to know how you plan to incorporate this news blogging thing? As it is now the blogs made for news just gets overshadowed by the edits and isn't seen at all on the front page. Veilor 18:19, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

Ok, sounds good. Though I'm worried how to handle the amount of news to be seen, as this is a gaming wiki not connected to any particular game there'll be a lot of news for all kinds of games. Also depends on how often the news are written and how many jumps on to do this. Anyway just give a heads up when the change occurs. Veilor 15:50, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

Requests for Adminship[]

Hi! Can you vote for me on the Nominations page? Please? Thanks! Support, if you will, I'm happy to accept my mistake if its neutral or oppose, just provide a reason so that I can improve! :D Kenobi I am the true Jedi Master! Skywalker 16:39, June 6, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you, for your vote. I now realize my mistake and I sincerely thank you for pointing it out. I promise to rectify it in the future. Thank you, again, for your vote. :D Kenobi I am the true Jedi Master! Skywalker 16:48, June 6, 2011 (UTC)

Sysop[]

What does it take to become one? Do ya know? Jello Rabbit 17:28, June 6, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks![]

Thanks for the welcome, Wagnike2. I've been linking to Wiki sites in my articles within the words of the article, not towards the end. If you look at both my RAGE article and my Mass Effect 3 article, I linked to Wikis for those games at the beginning of the article. I prefer to link to stuff that way rather than "assault" the reader with a tag at the end of the article. I'm more covert, I guess. :)

RE: Wiki Gaming News Team[]

Wow, thank you Wagnike! I'll work hard to bring as much gaming news and updates as I possibly can to this wiki, and I'll remember to categorize it accordingly. Cheers! --BobNewbie ∞(Talk)∞ 20:23, June 8, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks dude. Oh, and don't worry that I'm going to slack off at any time. Already wrote the blog for tomorrow. :D --BobNewbie ∞(Talk)∞ 20:20, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Deletions[]

Are you volunteering to check the Considered for deletion category and delete sum of Dream Focus's imports? Thanks. Jello Rabbit 20:26, June 10, 2011 (UTC)
Unused, replaced, etc. I will tag the articles for deletion and trust me. For good reasons. Jello Rabbit 20:59, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Question[]

Do you think I could apply for helper rights via the computer in August this year? It doesn't matter if I don't, but I would like it. Jello Rabbit 21:52, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Video Game Wiki[]

Due to the fact that Video Game Wiki would basically become a carbon copy of this one if people actually put the time and care into it, would a merge between these two wikis be okay? I understand if no, but it's just better than getting the wiki disabled completely, since it'll bring more content and editors to the wiki. --BassJapas (talk) 22:34, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

Ah, okay, I shall get to work on rewriting pages then. User:BassJapas/Sig

Dream Focus promotion[]

Why did you promote Dream Focus to sysop when he made like four-five edits? It confuses me. Jello Rabbit 18:59, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
Can I apply for the Helper rights for this year online if there is a space for helpers? Jello Rabbit 19:14, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
Instructions please? Jello Rabbit 19:17, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
I see the button, but when I go on the hiring page for a Helper status. That is my question. Oh and is that applying online or in real life cuz I want to keep my identity secret and my personal info. Jello Rabbit 19:26, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
There is a web application job. What is that about? Seems interesting. Jello Rabbit 19:33, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
Never mind. Only for 18 years and older. I'm just 15.. Jello Rabbit 19:34, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

The Admin nominations[]

Can you please check into it seeing that some of the proposals were up for a while to see who wins and who fails? Thanks. Jello Rabbit 11:26, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

Hi Nic - Wiki has a new logo!

Skyrpg wiki is being trolled![]

Hi Nic, can you take a look at this page? http://gaming.gamepedia.com/Left_4_Dead_2_SkyRpg

A disgruntled user who I think was banned from our community has flagged the wiki for deletion. DayZ is a modification to Arma 2, and Skyrpg is a modification to Left 4 Dead 2. It deserves a wiki, especially since it's an extremely detailed and in-depth rpg mod. I find it disheartening, being a new user to gaming.wiki, that anyone who has no clue and, after viewing web4tv's profile, can only conclude that he's never even played our mod, can flag it, and have the page become unavailable to everyone who is trying to access it, that this site may have people trolling it - and going unchecked. At the least, leave the site available while we wait for an admin to take a look. We have a large community of several thousand players who depend on a detailed wiki to explain the new updates, and the system, and, our community has existed for over 3 years.

Can be a part of the News Team. Thanks in advance COD5 (Contact Me) 13:27, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

Can we create this project this will help our articles very much.COD5 (Contact Me) 14:50, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

Hey if you are correct then we can share tasks here and two users if contributes with their level best will make this wiki a great one.And we already have many pages to recover in Stubs and other Clean-Up articles.COD5 (Contact Me) 14:59, November 5, 2012 (UTC)
